About me

About me

My photography is entirely ethical: I do not sell images of captive animals or those from game farms. All my photographs are taken either from hides or in the context of conservation projects, reflecting countless hours of patient observation and deep respect for nature. Through my work, I aim to raise awareness about threatened species and contribute to their protection. As I like to say, “If you are patient, you will enjoy the amazing spectacle of nature.”

Artistically, I strive to reveal the subtle, often unnoticed details of wildlife, sharing the beauty of nature to inspire conservation. My images have been published in national newspapers, Herpetological Field Guides, and a wildlife documentary, and have received recognition at international photography festivals.

Thank you for visiting my website!

My name is Júlia Ferrer and I am a wildlife photographer and biologist with a master’s degree in wildlife management. As a passionate herpetologist, I lead several conservation projects focused on amphibians and reptiles within a Catalan NGO.

I grew up in a small coastal town near Barcelona, and my fascination with nature began in childhood. This passion led me to study Biology. Since 2017, I have been photographing wildlife, planning almost all of my trips around opportunities to capture the natural world. These journeys have taken me to several countries, discovering incredible places and the species that inhabit them.
